Full Time Teaching Positions Starting March 2010- Korea

Full Time Teaching Position available starting in mid February 2010 for our morning kindergarten and afternoon elementary school program teaching English. Our school is located in Seocho, Seoul next to Gangnam. Our school is very reputable and very successfull. We have 15 full time native english teachers and we’re looking to fill one more position. We provide a furnished studio apartment in a modern 15 story officetel in Gangnam, health insurance 50/50, pension fund 50/50, one month severance pay at the end of contract, round trip airfare paid, paid summer and winter vacation days, all national holidays off, and a fun atmosphere to work in. The Sogang Language Program, an English institute for children operated by Sogang University, has prepared presentations to recruit new students to its 57 schools starting Thursday.

The Rainbow Bridge course for children aged 5 to 7 was developed reflecting the pedagogical goals announced by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. The university has developed teaching materials to correspond exactly with children’s emotional needs and interests, combining development in speaking, listening, writing and reading – all the functions of communication. The course also reaches outside language to teach help children enjoy a well-rounded upbringing, learning about health, society and general subjects, and not just English.

The SLP kindergarten course helps teach children how to read books in English through its online book reading program, called SORI. After completing the kindergarten course, students can continue to study with the SAP course, which uses textbooks from the United States as well as SLP-developed materials.

The Sogang Language Program is an English institute established by Sogang University based on the educational theories of the respected institution and designed to provide proper English education for children and teenagers.

SLP programs are differentiated for kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school, up to courses for students with experience living abroad. Since it was established in 1994, SLP has been acknowledged as a specialized English educational institute for children, with 57 branches now in operation.
